The Disney Entertainment Showcase at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event was a spectacle of announcements and exclusive reveals, leaving fans in awe. After an opening number by ABC's Dancing with the Stars pros, the hosts Ginnifer Goodwin and Ke Huy Quan welcomed Disney CEO Josh D'Amaro, who highlighted the brand's connection with fans worldwide, spanning generations and backgrounds. D'Amaro introduced Anne Hathaway, Disney Legend, who spoke about her journey with Disney, from The Princess Diaries to her latest projects. Dana Walden, President and Chief Creative Officer, presented a sneak peek of the upcoming film, The Simpsons, alongside Bart Simpson! The Pixar portion of the showcase was a treat, with Pete Docter unveiling Incredibles 3, Coco 2, and Ghost Market. Docter also introduced Disney and Pixar Games and SQUARE ENIX's KINGDOM HEARTS IV, and a brand-new Kingdom Hearts series for Disney+. The live-action segment featured Lilo & Stitch 2, Romy and Michele 2, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Camp Rock 3, The Bluey Movie, Ice Age: Boiling Point, and Tangled. Jon Favreau's Oswald, a live-action animated hybrid series, was also announced. The event concluded with Frozen 3, featuring a new villainess with powers rivaling Elsa's, leaving fans excited for the future of Disney.
